Perched high above the rugged coastline of Western Port Bay, our olive grove has spent more than twenty-five years weathering the elements.

The sea winds arrive without invitation, rolling in across the bay before climbing the cliffs of Shoreham. It's here that a family of owls has made its home, hunkering down through each gale, a quiet reminder that nature doesn't simply endure these conditions, it belongs to them.

Inspired by these remarkable birds, we named our olive grove Howling Owl Estate.

Like the owls, our trees have learned to thrive where others might struggle.

The Howling Owl Philosophy - Great extra virgin olive oil cannot be hurried.

It begins with healthy trees, careful stewardship of the land and harvesting the fruit at precisely the right moment.

We believe exceptional olive oil should express where it comes from, not just how it is made.

Whether drizzled over warm sourdough, folded through fresh pasta, paired with ripe tomatoes or simply enjoyed with a pinch of sea salt, Howling Owl Extra Virgin Olive Oil brings the character of our grove to every meal.

A Grove with Character - Decades of salt air, strong winds and generous sunshine

More than 500 olive trees stand across our coastal property on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula.

They are no longer young. Decades of salt air, strong winds and generous sunshine have shaped them into beautifully gnarled sculptures, each carrying the story of another growing season.

Their twisted trunks are testament to resilience. Their fruit is testament to patience.

The unique combination of maritime climate, mineral-rich soils and constant sea breezes creates ideal growing conditions, allowing the fruit to ripen slowly while developing exceptional flavour.

The Howling Owl Blend - Our extra virgin olive oil is crafted from three classic Mediterranean varieties.

Frantoio contributes vibrant fruit and structure.

Leccino brings elegance, softness and balance.

Picholine adds freshness, lift and a distinctive peppery finish.

Together they create an olive oil that opens with bright, grassy fruit before revealing layers of complexity and a gentle pepperiness that lingers beautifully across both the front and back palate.
